How do I care for my Patricia Locke jewelry?
All pieces are finished with a protective lacquer, no liquids, detergents or treated cloths should be used in their care. For best wear, jewelry should be put on after any lotions, perfumes or sprays and should not be worn during strenuous activity. Expect some natural aging effects.
What materials are used in your jewelry?
Antiqued 24K gold plate or sterling silver plate over pewter. We employ a wide variety of semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, glass beads and pearls. All ear wires are gold-filled or sterling silver and our posts are surgical steel. There is no nickel used in our jewelry.
How do I have my Patricia Locke jewelry repaired?
While it is impossible to guarantee the lifetime of any piece of jewelry we make every effort to restore a damaged piece, or locate a missing mate or part. Please bring your piece to your local Patricia Locke retailer. They will return it to us for evaluation and repair.
Do you replace missing stones?
Yes, we replace missing stones. Please bring your piece to your local Patricia Locke retailer. They will return it to us for repair.
How long does a repair take to process?
Most repairs are shipped back to your retailer within 5 business days after we receive the return. More complicated repairs may take longer.
Do you replace missing earrings?
Yes, since we are a women-owned business we understand the frustration of an orphaned earring. It is for this reason that we offer our customers an earring replacement service. This is not a free service; please contact your Patricia Locke retailer for more information. You will need to take your remaining earring to your retailer. They will return it to us so we can make the closest possible match to your earring. Unfortunately, some styles may no longer be available for replacement based on availability.
Can I order bracelets and necklaces in custom lengths?
Yes, many of our pieces can be made to custom lengths; we base all lengths on an end to end measurement. Special orders can be placed with most Patricia Locke retailers.
Can your earrings be converted into various styles (i.e. clip, post, French wire)?
No, our pieces are designed to function as the earring type that appears on the website.
Can I order jewelry directly from you?
